General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Hannes Bartz –mobile physical therapy
- §1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all physiotherapy services provided by Hannes Bartz within the framework of a mobile private practice. All services are provided exclusively on a private basis.
- §2 Treatment Agreement
By scheduling an appointment, a service contract pursuant to §§ 611 ff. of the German Civil Code (BGB) is concluded.
The subject of the contract is the provision of physiotherapy services. A specific therapeutic outcome is not owed.
- §3 Medical Prescription Requirement
Physiotherapeutic treatments classified as medical remedies require a valid medical prescription issued by a licensed physician.
Home visits will only be carried out if explicitly prescribed as a home visit on the medical prescription.
The patient is responsible for providing a valid prescription in due time.
- §4 Fees and Remuneration
Remuneration is based on the current price list of the practice.

Billing is carried out exclusively on a private basis. No direct billing with statutory health insurance providers is performed.
Payment is due in full regardless of potential reimbursement by private health insurance companies or public aid schemes.
- §5 Payment Terms
Invoices are generally issued after completion of the treatment series.
The invoice amount is payable within 14 days of the invoice date without deduction.
In case of default of payment, statutory default interest may be charged.
- §6 Appointment Cancellation and Missed Appointments
Scheduled appointments are binding.
Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
In the event of late cancellation or non-attendance, a cancellation fee equivalent to the agreed treatment fee will be charged, unless the appointment can be reassigned.
- §7 Home Visits
Treatment is carried out in the patient’s home environment.
The patient is responsible for ensuring a suitable and safe treatment setting (sufficient space, appropriate hygienic conditions).
- §8 Patient Cooperation
The patient is obliged to provide accurate and complete information relevant to the treatment, including diagnoses, pre-existing conditions, or contraindications.
Physiotherapy treatment does not replace medical diagnosis or medical treatment.
- §9 Liability
Liability is governed by statutory provisions.
No liability is assumed for damages resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the patient.
- §10 Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

- §11 Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
German law shall apply.
